Working Principle of Tungsten Heater
Under high-vacuum conditions, electric current passes through the tungsten heater and generates resistive heating, raising it to the required evaporation temperature. The coating material loaded on the heater is thermally evaporated into atomic vapor. With a mean free path significantly greater than the chamber dimensions, vapor atoms travel without collision and directly condense on the substrate surface, forming a uniform thin film and completing the solid–gas–solid phase transformation process.
